How to delete your account

In the app, open Settings → Cloud sync → Manage plan and tap "Delete account", then confirm. This permanently removes your account and all of its data right away.

Prefer email? Write to [email protected] from the address you use to sign in, with the subject "Delete my account", and include the email associated with your Bookery account so we can verify it. We will process the request and permanently delete your account and cloud data within 30 days, and confirm by email once done.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign-in identity (your email address and account identifier).

Your synced library stored in the cloud: books, reading progress, notes, quotes, reading sessions, goals and profile settings.

What may be retained

Data on your own device is not affected by this request — you can remove it by uninstalling the app or clearing its data on your phone.

We may retain a limited amount of information where required by law, or to prevent fraud and abuse, for no longer than necessary. Purchase and subscription records held by the app stores (Google Play / Apple) and by our billing provider are governed by their own retention policies.

Backup copies are removed on our provider's regular backup rotation, within 30 days of deletion.
